Daycare Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What are the hours of operation? Our daycare operates from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on weekends and major holidays.
Our Maple Heights location is open 6:00- 1:00 AM we are a scheduled center everyone must provide drop off and pick up time, these times must include travel time
2. What age groups do you accept? We accept children from 6 weeks to 13 years old. Our classrooms are divided into age-appropriate groups: Infants (6 weeks to 18 months), Toddlers (1-2 years), Preschoolers (3-5 years), and school agers (5-13).

4. What curriculum do you follow? We use a creative curriculum that incorporates elements from several educational philosophies. Our goal is to foster creativity, independence, and a love of learning in every child.
5. Are meals and snacks provided? Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks daily. Our menu is designed to meet the dietary needs of growing children which will contain all five food groups, and we accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions with prior notice.
6. What is your policy on sick children? For the health and safety of all children, we ask that you keep your child at home if they are ill. If a child becomes sick while at the center, we will contact the parent or guardian to pick up the child as soon as possible. Children must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to daycare and a doctor’s know may be required depending on the illness
7. What security measures are in place? The safety of your child is our top priority. We have a secure entry system. Additionally, our facility is equipped with cameras in common areas, and all staff members undergo background checks.
8. How do you handle discipline? We believe in positive reinforcement and redirection as our primary methods of discipline. We encourage good behavior through praise and provide gentle guidance to help children learn acceptable social behavior.
9. What should I bring for my child? For infants, please bring bottles, formula or breast milk, diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. For older children, please provide a change of clothes, a water bottle, and any comfort items they may need (e.g., blanket, stuffed animal). We recommend labeling all personal items with your child’s name.
10. How do you handle potty training? We support potty training and will work with you to maintain consistency between home and daycare. Please provide extra clothing and training supplies, such as pull-ups.
11. Can I visit my child during the day? Yes, parents are welcome to visit their children during the day. However, we recommend scheduling visits during non-nap times to minimize disruptions.
12. What is your policy on inclement weather? In the event of severe weather, we may close the center or delay opening. We will notify parents as soon as possible via email, text and Brightwheel.
13. How do you communicate with parents? We believe in open communication and provide regular updates through daily reports, newsletters,. We also use a parent communication app called Brightwheel where you can receive real-time updates on your child's day.
14. What is the enrollment process? To enroll your child, please contact us to schedule a tour and meet our staff. After the tour, you can complete the enrollment forms and submit them along with the registration fee.
15. What is the tuition fee, and how is it paid?Tuition fees vary based on the age of the child and the program they are enrolled in. Payments are due weekly and can be made via automatic credit card payments through Brightwheel. Please contact us for specific rates and payment options.
16. Do you offer any discounts? Yes, we offer sibling discounts and may have occasional promotions. Please inquire with our office for details.
17. How do you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?We take food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. Please inform us of any allergies your child has, and we will ensure they receive appropriate meals and snacks.
18. What should I do if my child needs medication during the day? If your child requires medication during the day, please complete a Medication Authorization Form and provide the medication in its original container with clear instructions. Our staff is trained to administer medications safely.
19. Are there any special activities or events? Yes, we regularly organize special activities such as themed days, field trips (for older children), and holiday celebrations. We also host parent involvement events where families can participate in their child’s learning experience.
